During your stay, start by visiting the village of Nouâtre. There, you'll find a beautiful church, which features a 15th-century alabaster altarpiece.

As you stroll through the surrounding area, you'll discover many unique and unmissable sites. Parks, castles, villages, and more: choose the visits that interest you! You can also visit some wineries and estates to learn more about Touraine's wine culture, such as the Caves de la Sybille in Panzoult or the Domaine Fabrice Gasnier in Cravant-les-Côteaux!

Exceptional abbeys in the region

In less than an hour from our charming guesthouse, you'll reach the Abbaye Notre-Dame de Fontevraud. This former Benedictine abbey, built in the 12th century, offers a visit between exhibitions and modern art, discovering its unique heritage.

The Abbaye Saint-Michel de Bois-Aubry is 10 minutes from your accommodation. Admire its architecture, discover its history, and visit the cemetery where actor Yul Bruner is buried.

With family or friends at the aquarium

A fun and exciting visit awaits you at the Amboise Aquarium. Discover the aquatic world and over 3,000 fish. Young and old alike will learn more about the species present, as well as the richness of the oceans and rivers.

Unusual visit to Bourré

A unique place awaits you just one hour from our guesthouse. Underground, several dozen meters away, you'll discover a quarry, a mushroom farm, a town, and a gallery illustrating lost trades.

In the Cave des Roches, more than 120km of galleries are home to mushroom farms: Paris, shiitake, oyster mushrooms, and pied bleu mushrooms.

In the heart of nature

Take part in a treasure hunt in the great outdoors. Throughout Nouvelle Aquitaine, various routes of a few kilometers will introduce you to unusual places and anecdotes, and invite you to solve riddles. Find the treasure with family or friends!

Heritage and know-how

Discover the troglodyte village of Saint-Rémy-sur-Creuse, just 20 minutes from La Clé des Jardins. Carved into a Truffe cliff, it offers a unique visit.

You'll appreciate the dwellings, as well as the history of the hemp weavers from the 17th to the 19th century, whose expertise made the village famous.

Discovering Flora

The Arboretum de la Martinière is located 35 minutes from your accommodation. In this haven of peace, you can discover many species of trees from around the world.

You'll enjoy beautiful walks there, with family, friends, alone, or as a couple. Stroll along its shaded paths. It's an ideal place for nature lovers.

Immersion in Vilaines Les Rochers

Head to Villaines-les-Rochers for a unique excursion. This village invites you to get away from it all. You'll discover dwellings carved into the rock, artisan workshops, and underground cellars.
